MEALS AND SNACKS WHILE YOUR CHILD IS WITH US: 

Your weekly fee includes breakfast, home made lunches, and all snacks.  Some early childhood programs are forcing parents to pack lunches.  We believe that wholesome, child-friendly meals are important to your child's mental and physical well-being.  In addition, lunch is served in our cafeteria, providing an excellent opportunity for social skills and table manners.

Parents are pleased that the menu at Love ‘n Learn Child Care is allergen-free with regard to the primary life-threatening food allergies (eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, fish, etc.)

While these allergens are in the building on special occasions (birthdays, “Breakfast for Lunch day,” party days (Halloween, Valentine’s Day, etc.), we have established a stringent protocol for handling food allergies.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. each day in our roomy, child-friendly cafeteria.

Whole grain, nutritious hot and cold cereals with minimal sugar and dyes are offered, as
are Vitamin D milk and 100% juice.

Parents may supplement with wholesome foods, such as fresh fruit or yogurt.

Please do NOT send cookies, candy, donuts, cupcakes or other non-nutritious foods for breakfast!
